This Privacy Policy explains how Sizely (`sizely.io` and creator sites on `*.sizely.io`) handles personal information.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to:

• Visitors to the Sizely marketing site
• People who create accounts (fans and creators)
• Visitors to creator sites hosted on Sizely

Creators may also publish their own content and collect information through their sites. Where a creator asks for extra details (for example commission forms), that creator is responsible for how they use that information, in addition to this platform policy.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile

• Email address
• Display name and optional avatar
• Authentication details when you sign in with email/password or a provider (Google, Discord, Microsoft)
• Basic account status (for example warnings or suspensions applied by platform moderation)

Creator / business use

• Creator profile details (display name, site slug, branding)
• Content you upload (images, comics, shop files, text, etc.)
• Payout and commerce-related data needed to run payments (handled largely by Stripe)

Usage and technical data

• Approximate device/browser information and IP address (typical server and security logs)
• Cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and run the product
• Optional product analytics or error monitoring if enabled later (we will update this policy if we add tools that materially change this)

Communications

• Messages you send to us (for example support emails)
• Transactional emails we send you (password reset, confirmations, important account notices)

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on Sizely servers. Stripe may receive billing details, purchase history, and identity information required for Stripe Connect (creator payouts). See Stripe’s privacy policy.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate Sizely (accounts, creator sites, media delivery, shop, subscriptions, commissions)
• Authenticate you and keep your session secure
• Process orders, memberships, and payouts via Stripe
• Enforce payment-provider rules (including Stripe’s prohibited and restricted business categories)
• Send transactional email (for example password reset)
• Moderate abuse, spam, fraud, and illegal content
• Improve reliability and fix bugs
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

If you are in the EEA or UK, we typically rely on:

• Contract — to provide the service you signed up for
• Legitimate interests — security, abuse prevention, product improvement, payment compliance
• Consent — where required (for example certain optional cookies/marketing, if we add them)
• Legal obligation — when the law requires us to keep or disclose information

5. Sharing

We share data only as needed with:

Creator sites are public by design for published content. Do not upload personal data you do not want visible.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to:

• Keep you signed in
• Protect security (for example CSRF / session integrity)
• Remember basic preferences required for the product to work

If we later add non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and provide appropriate controls.

7. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. We may retain limited records after deletion for security, dispute resolution, backups, or legal requirements. Payment records may be retained according to Stripe and applicable law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account / request erasure
• Export data (portability)
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

Sizely is not directed at children under 16 (or the higher age required in your country). Creators may mark sites as 18+; adult content areas are intended for adults only. If you believe we have collected a child’s data inappropriately, contact support@sizely.io.

10. International transfers

Infrastructure providers may process data in the EU, UK, US, or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by those vendors (for example standard contractual clauses).

11. Security

We use industry-standard providers and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and protect your login methods.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice when appropriate.
